In Koryo Town, one of the few great mounds in the Umami hills whose megalithic chamber can be entered. If indeed the tomb of the never-crowned "father of a sovereign," it holds a key to the royal line on the eve of Asuka.

Archaeological view
A large three-tiered round mound about 60m along its long axis, built near the end of the late Kofun period. Its corridor chamber is 17.1m long, with a burial chamber 4.5m high. Finds include horse trappings (gyoyo pendants, cheekpieces and cup-shaped stirrups), a silver-fitted sword, arrowheads, glass beads and Sue ware. It has been proposed as the Narai Tomb of Prince Oshisaka-Hikohito, father of Emperor Jomei.
