242m mound in Tenri City, designated by the IHA as Emperor Sujin's mausoleum. The centerpiece of the Yanagimoto kofun group.The name "Andon-yama" comes from the mound's resemblance to an andon oil lamp. Emperor Sujin is sometimes called Japan's first historically plausible sovereign—fitting, as this mound lies in Tenri City, often described as the birthplace of the Yamato polity.
