An Early Kofun-period elite tomb in northern Settsu, retaining its mound tiers, stone facing, and surrounding hill terrain. It was designated a National Historic Site in December 2002.
Finds & research
Two unlooted pit chambers were identified in the rear mound. Chamber 1 contains two triangular-rimmed deity-and-beast mirrors, a TLV mirror, stone arm ornaments, part of a wooden coffin, a skull, and other remains.

Archaeological view
An 86.4m keyhole mound on the end of a hill at Himurocho 6 and Kamihamuro 2, Takatsuki, dating to the early 4th century. A 2002 investigation found two unlooted pit chambers in the rear mound; fibre-optic examination identified triangular-rimmed deity-and-beast mirrors, a TLV mirror, stone arm ornaments, part of a wooden coffin, and a skull.
