Archaeological view
Its mound earth gone, the exposed chamber — hollowed from two granite megaliths (0.9m × 2.2m inside; lid ~3m) — may have crowned an octagonal mound. Built in the mid-7th century, it is the only corridor-slab chamber in northern Kawachi. Sue and gaki ware recovered.
