Overview
The consort's mausoleum paired with Emperor Ankan's at the close of the Furuichi group — a kofun swallowed by a medieval castle, layering Kawachi's history.

Archaeological view
A keyhole mound ~85m long (~110m with moat), built c. 500, reshaped as a bailey of medieval Takaya Castle to a ~30m square remnant. Finds include cylindrical and figural haniwa, a pictorial-band mirror, amber beads, and gilt-shoe fragments.

Managed by the IHA as the Furuichi-Takaya Mausoleum of Princess Kasuga-no-Yamada, consort of Emperor Ankan, adjoining her husband's tomb (id:50) just to the south.
