Archaeological view
A mirror-handle-shaped keyhole mound 56m long, the first in the Akashi area (early 4th century). Its clay-encased burials and jar coffins yielded a pictorial-band mirror, wheel- and bracelet-shaped stone ornaments, beads, and iron goods — an assemblage suggesting a female chieftain.
