Archaeological view
A round mound ~30m across on a ridge tip, built in the late 5th century, with three pit-style chambers. Burial 2 yielded pendant earrings, a silver-inlaid ring-pommel sword, and iron ingots; burial 3 a pictorial-band mirror, pendant earrings, and beads. The pendant earrings — only ~30 pairs known nationwide — are first-class evidence of Harima's peninsular ties.
