Archaeological view
A two-tiered round mound ~35m across with a projection, stone paving, and haniwa rows, built in the 5th century alongside Tamaoka Kofun (id:586). Its summit cist (much robbed) yielded a riveted cuirass, swords, a spear, and axes; the projection produced rooster and other figural haniwa.
