A large round mound forming the Saijo group beside Gyojazuka in Kakogawa. Likely the tomb of a magnate close to the chieftain, walkable within the same historic park.

Archaeological view
A round mound with projections (scallop type): registered at ~50m, but 2009–14 surveys showed 61.5m+ length, 10.4m height, and two projections. Built in the early 5th century, contemporary with Gyojazuka (id:585). Burial uninvestigated; cylindrical haniwa recovered, with later tile kilns of the Saijo temple on the moat slope.
