An approximately 11.6m corridor chamber and monolithic Tatsuyama-stone house-shaped sarcophagus; no grave goods are known because it remains unexcavated.

Archaeological view
The mound is badly eroded and its form is unknown, possibly square or round; it is estimated at about 30m across and 8m high. Dated to the 7th century, it has an approximately 11.6m Iwayayama-type corridor chamber and a Tatsuyama-stone house-shaped sarcophagus.
Imperial Household Agency view
Not designated by the IHA; a Nara Prefectural Historic Site. The occupant is unknown; an old attribution to Empress Saimei is not the current designation.
