A round mound from the earlier part of the Late Kofun period, preserved in Takaida Yokoana Park. Its horizontal chamber can be viewed with replica grave goods; the originals are kept and displayed by the Kashiwara City Historical Museum.
Finds & research
Finds include one deity-human-dragon-tiger mirror, one fire iron, three earrings, 322 glass beads, weapons, armour, and horse gear. Connections with continental-derived culture are plausible, but the occupant cannot be assigned definitively to a particular lineage or royal house.

Archaeological view
A round mound about 22m in diameter at Takaida, Kashiwara, excavated in 1990 and dated by its finds to the late 5th century. It has an early horizontal chamber for the Kinai region and yielded a deity-human-dragon-tiger mirror, a fire iron, earrings, glass beads, weapons, armour, and horse gear.
Imperial Household Agency view
This is not an Imperial Household Agency mausoleum. It lies in the park containing the National Historic Site Takaida Yokoana, but is not described here as an independently designated National Historic Site. Its finds became Kashiwara City Tangible Cultural Properties in 2008.
