Two views on the occupant
Archaeological view
An approximately 180m keyhole mound in Umami Hills Park. Nara Prefecture gives a rear diameter of 106m, front width of 70m, and an early-5th-century date. Details of the burial facility and grave goods remain unknown.
Imperial Household Agency view
This is not an IHA mausoleum. It is preserved within Umami Hills Park, but Kurazuka Kofun itself is not designated a National Historic Site.
