A medium-sized independent keyhole mound (106m) within the Mozu group. 5th century; stone covering and haniwa rows confirmed. Not designated by the IHA; managed by Sakai City. Located south of Daisen Kofun, it forms an important component of the southern part of the Mozu group. It is interpreted as either an independent chieftain's tomb or a large satellite mound with its own prestige, positioned close to the great mausolea.Constituent monument of the "Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group" UNESCO WHS (2019). Its non-IHA status means archaeological investigation is relatively feasible. Nagatuka Kofun plays a supporting role in the World Heritage landscape, complementing the great mausolea as a component of the Mozu group ensemble. The name "Nagatuka" (Long Mound) is an old local place name that aptly describes the elongated mound profile.

An independent keyhole mound (106m long) of uncertain relationship to Daisen Kofun. 5th century. Although not formally designated as an IHA satellite, its proximity to the southern outer moat of Daisen Kofun has led some to suggest a satellite or subordinate relationship. Others see it as an independent chieftain's tomb. Stone covering and cylindrical haniwa have been confirmed, consistent with standard 5th-century keyhole construction. The name "Nagatuka" (Long Mound) may refer to the elongated shape of the mound.
