Archaeological view
An approximately 87m-long keyhole mound with a rear diameter of about 45m at Okayama 2, Shijonawate. It dates to the mid-4th century. Kyoto University investigated its previously looted pit chamber in 1935, identifying jasper arm ornaments, iron weapons, and helmet fragments. The occupant is unknown.
Imperial Household Agency view
This is not an Imperial Household Agency mausoleum. It is an Osaka Prefecture-designated Historic Site, with its pit-style chamber preserved under a shelter beside Shinobugaoka Shrine.
