A clustered cemetery spread across the Shinodayama hills in northern Izumi. Izumi City's cultural-property plan records more than 100 mounds. The name Senzuka denotes a great many tombs; no source was found proving that the actual total exceeded one thousand.
Investigations are recorded for multiple mounds, but no official synthesis supporting blanket claims about finds from the whole group was verified in this review. Chambers and finds from individual mounds remain for further research.
The hills include a Self-Defense Force training area and other restricted land, so visitors must remain on public roads and in areas explicitly open to the public.
