A large keyhole mound in northern Kawachi. Hirakata City dates it to the late 4th century, an Osaka Prefecture cultural-property document to the early 5th, and the Agency for Cultural Affairs describes it as Middle Kofun; its precise date remains disputed. The burial facility and grave goods are unknown.

Archaeological view
A 107.5m-long keyhole mound on a terrace above the left bank of the Hotani River, oriented roughly east–west with a surrounding moat and western and southern outer embankments. Hirakata City gives a rear-circle diameter of 58m and a front width of 45m; the Agency for Cultural Affairs gives 54.5m and 44m. Excavations found cylindrical haniwa and stone facing.
Imperial Household Agency view
This is not an Imperial Household Agency mausoleum. It was designated a National Historic Site on 8 March 1922, with additional southern and western outer areas designated on 19 February 1980.
