Overview

Located within Eifukuji Temple in Taishi Town. Designated as the tomb of Prince Shotoku. One of the most historically significant terminal kofun in Japan.

Finds & research

No excavation permitted under IHA mausoleum regulations. Internal structure and grave goods remain unknown. Exterior viewable from public paths.
