Managed by the IHA as the Ichi reference site and traditionally regarded as Emperor Junnin's first burial place. Minamiawaji City documents the Oka-no-Matsu tradition, but no public investigation checked establishes its form, size, date, burial facility, or finds.
Imperial Household Agency view
Managed by the IHA as the Ichi imperial-tomb reference site. Tradition identifies the Oka-no-Matsu location as Emperor Junnin's first burial place on Awaji, but that tradition is distinct from archaeological identification as a kofun.
