Overview
A prefectural historic site regarded as Wakayama's only concrete example linking haniwa production kilns with the mound they supplied.

Quiver-shaped haniwa (yanagui-gata), double-leg ring-pattern haniwa, kiln walls, charcoal fuel.

Archaeological view
A roughly 22m keyhole mound with two haniwa kilns downslope to the southwest, dating to the latter half of the Late Kofun period.

Not an IHA mausoleum. Designated a Wakayama Prefectural Historic Site on 26 May 2016.
