Archaeological view
Habikino City's Furuichi list records it as Takawashi Hiratsuka Kofun, a 50m square mound. Its burial facility remains undetermined under mausoleum management.
Imperial Household Agency view
Managed with the adjacent Shimaizumi Maruyama mound as Emperor Yuryaku's Tajihi-no-Takawashinohara Mausoleum. The IHA officially classifies the mausoleum as a round hill.
