A small rectangular mound (18.8m × 12.3m) straddling Yasaka-cho and Mineyama-cho, Kyotango City. Famous for the excavation of a "青龍3年" (235 CE) square-rule four-divine-animals mirror. Some scholars identify it as one of the hundred bronze mirrors granted by Wei to Queen Himiko. An important site documenting the Tango kingdom's contacts with China.

A small rectangular mound (18.8m × 12.3m), but the excavated "青龍3年" (235 CE) square-rule four-divine-animals mirror is an extraordinarily important find — a Wei-dynasty Chinese bronze mirror. Its possible connection to the hundred bronze mirrors said to have been granted by Wei to Queen Himiko is debated. A first-class document of Tango's overseas contacts at the dawn of the Kofun period.

About 15 min by bus or car from Kyoto Tango Railway "Mineyama" Station. The Kyotango City Tango Ancient Village Museum displays replicas and related materials. Recommended combined with Akasaka Imai Funbo (id:300) on a "Tango Kingdom" tour.
