A megalithic corridor chamber in the Mino group. Himeji City gives a chamber length of about 11m, an exposed capstone about 5m by 3.3m, and a chamber side stone about 4.4m high. Known as the “Ishibutai of Himeji”; the city dates the group to the 7th century.
Imperial Household Agency view
Not an Imperial Household Agency mausoleum. Designated a Himeji City Historic Site in 2006, then a Hyogo Prefecture Historic Site on 12 March 2019 together with Mino mounds 3, 4 and 6.
