Two views on the occupant
Archaeological view
A keyhole mound ~63m long (or ~75m), built in the early-to-mid 6th century — one of the Uzumasa chieftains' line alongside Hebizuka (id:294) and Amazuka (id:295).
Imperial Household Agency view
Managed by the IHA as the Takabatake Tomb of Prince Nakano (d. 867), son of Emperor Kanmu — though as a 6th-century mound its true occupant was likely a Hata clan chieftain of Sagano.
