Archaeological view
One of Japan's largest clusters: some 700 mounds (or ~800) across 3.3 × 3.5km of hills, spanning three centuries from early-5th-century coffin burials through 6th-century chamber groups to a mid-7th-century stone-chamber tomb. The megalithic Jouurugami Kofun (id:390) lies within its bounds.
