A "brick chamber" opening in the hills of Obara, Sakurai — Baekje masonry of a lineage distinct from Asuka's stonecutters, awaiting those who take the trail.

Archaeological view
A round mound ~16m (mostly denuded), built in the mid-7th century. Its brick-laid, plastered corridor chamber of Haibara stone — with a stone-doored inner room — is one of only a handful in Japan, and is attributed to Baekje immigrants.

About 15 min up a trail from the Kasama-tsuji bus stop; the chamber is grilled and hard to enter.
