A late Kofun-period chambered mound in Teragouchi, Muraoka, Kami Town. Its finds, including three decorated swords, are prefecturally designated Important Tangible Cultural Properties and have been reexamined and conserved.

Double-sleeved corridor chamber about 10–10.4m long; three decorated swords, bead-pattern mirror, horse gear, beads, and Sue ware. The designated assemblage comprises 168 items.

Archaeological view
The mound was altered by graves and cultivation, leaving its original shape unknown. Kami Town dates it to the early 7th century and gives the double-sleeved corridor chamber as about 10m long; a town leaflet gives 10.4m. Finds include three decorated swords—mallet-headed, twin-dragon ring-pommel, and pointed-pommel types—plus a bead-pattern mirror, horse gear, ornaments, and pottery. The town regards the assemblage as evidence relevant to ties between Tajima’s local rulers and the Kinai government.

Not designated by the IHA. The mound became a Hyogo Prefectural Historic Site on 18 March 1975; 168 finds became prefectural Important Tangible Cultural Properties on 10 March 2015.

The mound includes graves and cultivated land; check locally before entering the chamber. Some finds are shown on the second floor of the Muraoka Folk Museum Mahoroba, subject to loans and display changes.
