An early keyhole mound on a ridge at Yoshima, Tatsuno. Chinese mirrors recorded from its pit-style chamber provide important evidence for the earliest tombs in Harima.
Finds & research
Pit-style chamber (5.3m per the Agency) and six mirrors. A triangular-rimmed mirror fragment is separately cataloged by the Tokyo National Museum. The city also lists glass beads, sword fragments, and pottery.

Archaeological view
Tatsuno City gives a mound length of about 30m; the national designation text gives 36m. The city dates it to around the mid-3rd century. The Agency describes a 5.3m pit-style chamber and enumerates six Chinese-made mirrors. Tatsuno also mentions a triangular-rimmed mirror, absent from the Agency’s list of six; the Tokyo National Museum separately catalogs a triangular-rimmed mirror fragment from this mound.
