The largest (63m) and northernmost of the Mitsuzuka trio. A late-4th-century national historic site. Located closest to Nakatsuyama Kofun (290m) among the three, built roughly contemporaneously with the main mound. "Nabeduka" (Pot Mound) has various etymological theories. As the closest of the three to the main mound, this may hold the most closely connected companion of Nakatsuyama's occupant.Constituent monument of the "Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group" UNESCO WHS (2019). The three Mitsuzuka mounds (Nabeduka–Nakayamaduka–Sukedayama) are arranged in an orderly north–south line south of Nakatsuyama Kofun, demonstrating the planned nature of the Furuichi funerary landscape. The trio was designated a national historic site in 2001, separate from but integrated with the IHA-managed main mound. The Mitsuzuka circuit is recommended as an introductory route to the Furuichi group in Fujiidera City tourism guides.
No excavation permitted under IHA mausoleum regulations. Internal structure and grave goods remain unknown. Exterior viewable from public paths.
