Overview
A square mound 43m on a side and 5m high, built next to the outer embankment east of Konda Gobyoyama Kofun, the Emperor Ojin mausoleum, with its axis parallel to the embankment. It has two tiers, and its surrounding moat is preserved underground. From its placement and orientation, it is thought to be related to the Ojin mausoleum. It is dated to the middle phase of the Middle Kofun period. The Imperial Household Agency administers it as a satellite of the Ojin mausoleum, and it is a constituent monument of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group World Heritage Site, inscribed in 2019.
Finds & research
A moat rings the mound and is preserved underground. Large cylindrical haniwa and a variety of figural haniwa have come from the mound and moat, notably a large house-shaped piece. As the IHA administers it as a satellite tomb, the burial facility and grave goods are uninvestigated.

Archaeological view
A square mound 43m long and 5m high, built in two tiers, occupant unknown, dated to the middle of the Middle Kofun period (first half of the 5th century). It stands on the east of Konda Gobyoyama Kofun (the Emperor Ojin mausoleum) against the outer embankment, its north–south axis parallel to it. A moat rings it, preserved underground. Large cylindrical haniwa and a range of figural haniwa have been recovered from the mound and moat, notably a large house-shaped piece.
