A square mound (36m). The southernmost of the "Mitsuzuka" (Three Mounds) cluster south of Nakatsuyama Kofun. Early-5th-century national historic site. "Mitsuzuka" refers to the trio of square accessory mounds (Sukedayama, Nakayamaduka, Nabeduka) all built in roughly the same period. "Sukedayama" may be a personal name (Sukeda)-derived toponym from the Edo period, reflecting local land management history.Constituent monument of the "Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group" UNESCO WHS (2019). The "Mitsuzuka" trio is designated as a national historic site in association with the great Nakatsuyama Kofun (9th largest nationally, 290m). Their collective protection zone forms an important part of the northern Furuichi group. The arrangement of three square mounds south of the main keyhole mound is a classic example of the Furuichi group's pattern of organizing a keyhole mausoleum with surrounding square accessory burials.
No excavation permitted under IHA mausoleum regulations. Internal structure and grave goods remain unknown. Exterior viewable from public paths.
