Near Ichinoyama Kofun, it is interpreted as the tomb of people closely related to that mound's occupant. The coffins are designated an Osaka Prefectural Tangible Cultural Property.
Finds & research
The pit chamber covering Sarcophagus No. 1 yielded ornaments, weapons, armor, agricultural tools, and horse gear. The two sarcophagi became Osaka Prefectural Tangible Cultural Properties on 29 March 1974.

Archaeological view
A lost round mound at Sawada, Fujiidera, about 40m in diameter and 7m high, built in the late 5th century. Two hollowed house-shaped sarcophagi of Aso welded tuff lay at its summit.
Imperial Household Agency view
Not an IHA mausoleum. Its two house-shaped sarcophagi are Osaka Prefecture-designated Tangible Cultural Properties.
