Large round mound (~40m diameter) in Kinokawa City — a city-designated historic site. 5th century; horse trappings and Sue ware recovered. With surrounding moat traces, it forms part of the middle Kinokawa basin chieftain tomb cluster alongside Maruyama and Futago-Zanmai-zuka kofun.

Large round mound ~40m in diameter in Kishigawa-cho, Kinokawa City. 5th century (Middle Kofun period). Traces of a surrounding moat confirmed; horse trappings and Sue ware recovered. As one of the Middle period chieftain tombs of Kishigawa-cho (present Kinokawa City), it forms part of the middle Kinokawa River basin kofun cluster alongside Maruyama (id:325), Futago-Zanmai-zuka (id:358), and the Hiraike group (id:395). The cluster suggests continuity of chiefly power in the area from the 5th to 7th centuries.
