Overview
A keyhole mound 110m long with a rear circle 9.9m high, built against the inner embankment on the east side of the front section of Konda Gobyoyama Kofun, the mausoleum of Emperor Ojin. It appears to have been built in two tiers. Its moat merges with the outer moat of the Ojin mausoleum, giving the appearance that the mound was incorporated into the larger monument; for this reason the two are thought to be closely related. Habikino City dates it to the late 4th century, while the Agency for Cultural Affairs dates it to the middle phase of the Middle Kofun period and is administered by the Imperial Household Agency as a satellite tomb. In the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group World Heritage Site, inscribed in 2019, it forms a single constituent property with the Ojin mausoleum and Kondamaruyama Kofun.
Finds & research
Cylindrical haniwa have been recovered. Details of the burial facility and grave goods are unknown.

Archaeological view
A 110m keyhole mound adjoining the inner embankment east of the front section of the Emperor Ojin mausoleum. Habikino City dates it to the late 4th century and regards it as earlier than the larger mound; the Agency for Cultural Affairs dates it to the middle phase of the Middle Kofun period. The larger mound's moat bends around it. It appears to have had two tiers and its rear circle is 9.9m high. Its burial facility and grave goods are unconfirmed.
Imperial Household Agency view
Managed by the IHA as a satellite tomb of "Ega-no-Mofushi-no-Oka-no-Misasagi", the official name of the Emperor Ojin mausoleum (Konda Gobyoyama Kofun, 425m). Designated and managed as an imperial mausoleum appendage. Habikino City lists it as a satellite tomb within the precinct of the Ojin mausoleum.
