Archaeological view
A medieval imperial mausoleum of the Northern and Southern Courts era, not a Kofun. It jointly enshrines Emperors Komyo and Suko of the Jimyoin/Northern line. Included to complete coverage of every imperial reign.
Imperial Household Agency view
An Imperial Household Agency-designated mausoleum enshrining chiefly Emperor Komyo (2nd) and Emperor Suko (3rd) of the Northern Court; Prince Haruhito, a great-great-grandson of Emperor Go-Fushimi, is also interred here. Located in Momoyama-cho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, about a 5-minute walk from JR Momoyama Station.
