Cylindrical and figurative haniwa were recovered, including a large house-shaped example about 1m high.

Archaeological view
A scallop-shaped mound at Hirakawa Kurumazuka, Joyo, with an 80m mound and overall length of 104m including its moat. Built in the early 5th century, it has stone facing, haniwa rows, and a moat.
Imperial Household Agency view
This is not an IHA mausoleum. Designated a National Historic Site in 1979, it is a component of the Kutsukawa Kofun Group, renamed in 2016.
