Two views on the occupant
Archaeological view
A round mound ~15m across (the east mound) with an uninvestigated corridor chamber; the west mound is held to be his loyal attendant's. Together they are the "Koboshizuka." The Nihon Shoki tells how the prince, shot by Emperor Yuryaku, was buried in Omi's Kayano and later given twin graves — this is the designated stage of that tragedy.
