Managed by the Imperial Household Agency as an imperial mausoleum; the official form is an upper-round, lower-square tumulus (jōen-kahōfun).

About 20 minutes on foot from JR Momoyama or Keihan Momoyama-minamiguchi Station; generally 08:30–17:00. Follow current IHA guidance and on-site signs.
