Managed by the Imperial Household Agency as an imperial mausoleum; the official form is an upper-round, lower-square tumulus (jōen-kahōfun).
Field notes
About 20 minutes on foot from JR/Keio Takao Station. Open 09:00–16:00, last entry 15:30; parking is available at the entrance. Follow current IHA guidance and on-site signs.
