Keyhole mound ~122m long in Yamada-cho, Yamatokoriyama City. Early 5th century. Three-tiered with stone paving and haniwa; surrounding moat. Administered by the IHA as a mausoleum reference site, so no excavation has been conducted. Situated in the central Nara basin between the Saki kofun group (lat 34.67–34.69) and the Umagami group (lat 34.60–34.64), it serves as a geographically important large mound linking the two clusters. Distinct from the nearby Tomio Maruyama Kofun (round, 109m diameter; id:379) in the same city.

Field notes
About 10 min by car from Kintetsu Kashihara Line Kintetsu-Koriyama Station. IHA-managed; no access to the mound interior. Exterior viewable from surrounding roads. Combine with Tomio Maruyama Kofun (id:379) for a Yamatokoriyama City kofun tour.
