A front-square/rear-square tumulus in Sakamoto, Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture. Mound length 38.0m. Regarded as one of the last zenpō-kōhō-fun (rear-square mounds) in Japan — an extremely rare type. The core of Sakamoto Kofun Group (Prefectural Historic Site). A gilt-bronze hilt-pommel sword unearthed here is a Prefectural Tangible Cultural Property. Open to the public as Sakamoto Kofun Park.
