Overview

A square tumulus in Ibe, Wakayama City. One side 35m — recognized as the largest square mound in the Kinki region. Part of the Iwase Senzuka Kofun Group (National Special Historic Site, Ibe district). The burial chamber is a double-corridor type (Iwahashi style, with stone shelves and beams); excavated finds include gold rings, sword-sheath fittings, and Sue ware.

Adjacent to the Wakayama Prefectural Kii Fudoki-no-Oka Museum. Parking available.
