Circular mound (dia. 40m+) in Ise City, Mie Prefecture. The stone chamber (18.5m long) is the largest in the Ise region and ranks 6th nationally in length; the burial chamber floor area is 2nd largest in Japan. Ise City Historic Site. Late 6th century — a remarkable mound whose modest exterior conceals one of the largest stone chambers in the country.

Circular mound (dia. 40m+, height ~8.5m) in Toyokawa, Ise City. Late 6th century. The horizontal stone chamber (total length 18.5m) is the largest in the Ise region and, nationally, ranks 6th in chamber length and 2nd in burial chamber floor area — a colossal stone room far exceeding the mound's external dimensions. The enormous chamber implies a powerful chieftain with strong ties to the Yamato polity. Multiple excavations were conducted in the 1960s–70s.

Located in Toyokawa, Ise City. About 10 min by car from Kintetsu Yamada Line "Ujiyamada" Station. Can be combined with a visit to Ise Jingu.
