A large square mound about 60m per side in Ano-cho, Tsu City, designated a National Historic Site in 1952. It has projections to the northeast and southwest, a form formerly called a square mound with paired projections. Shield- and parasol-shaped haniwa were collected. It is dated to the early 5th century.
Finds & research
Cylindrical and figural haniwa are documented; the unexcavated burial facility remains unknown.
