Archaeological view
The largest keyhole mound in the Kohori group. The Agency for Cultural Affairs gives a length of about 90m; Nagahama City says at least about 90m, with a 34m front section and a rear circle 59m across. The mound has not been excavated. Its form suggests that it postdates Komatsu Kofun, but its own construction date is not established.
