Archaeological view
A scallop-shaped mound about 90m long and 10.5m high, dated to the early 5th century after Takarazuka No. 1. It was initially designated as a round mound; later research established its scallop form.
Imperial Household Agency view
Not an IHA mausoleum. Designated a National Historic Site with No. 1 on 25 April 1932.
