Archaeological view
~90m scallop-shell (hotategai-gata) mound, 10.5m high rear section. Located immediately north of Takarazuka No.1. Mid-5th century; simpler structure than No.1 but similarly scaled, documenting the lineage of Ise chieftain burials.

Not designated by the IHA. Designated a National Historic Site in 1932 together with Takarazuka No.1 as "Takarazuka Kofun."

Field notes

Jointly preserved with Takarazuka No.1 (id:326) as Takarazuka Kofun Park. Adjacent to the Matsusaka Cultural Property Center (Haniwa Museum).
