A large round mound in Kinokawa City, about 40m in diameter and 7m high, with a box-shaped stone coffin; it is a Wakayama Prefectural Historic Site.
Finds & research
The box-shaped stone coffin yielded human remains, magatama, tubular and glass beads, and schist carvings in its main compartment, and armor and a straight sword in its subsidiary compartment. Cylindrical haniwa lined the mound foot.
